@Kindle Curious – Kindle does support non-latin characters, so text in non-latin languages wont display well in the Kindle.

Hi Prathap,

Did you buy the Kindle from http://www.amazon.com and ask them to ship to India directly? if so could you give an idea how much extra you had to pay over the advertised price? I was told I’d have a pay some tax (U.S.) and then in addition I’d have to pay a hefty customs duty before I get the Kindle in my hands. Did you pay a hefty customs duty too?

Does kindle support displaying PDF docs with tamil or any indian languages?

I recently tried to convert a tamil PDF doc into .mobi format, which resulted in 100X bigger than source PDF doc.

@nur For finger picking, the usual rule is to associate each finger with a string to play.
Eg:
Thumb – 6th and 5th string.
Fore finger – 4th
Middle – 3rd
Ring – 2nd
little – 1st
Practice it by playing slowly and accurately in the beginning.

@ridhya It is a common issue faced by all guitarists. Just practice slower, accurately and for more time. You will eventually get it. Best of luck.

can you tell me some thing about advance learning
i’m playing for quite some time . and keen to play lead scales without a pick ( finger styles) , can you suggest how to start , my progress is sloppy as i lose a beat while playing with rhythm
